Vanguard offers many exciting athletic opportunities to all students!

This is the heart of a Vanguard and the mission of our athletics program. We believe these characteristics are required to win in a game and to win in life.
Shop / Mechanics Program
The original Cobra Kit Car Project team was taken to Dallas, Texas. The Vanguard Techs were invited by
Carroll Shelby- known for designing the Shelby Cobra Mustang to participate in a very well known and celebrated Cobra show! This was a great honor. Vanguard's shop program continues to strive for opportunities such as this one every year.

The Christmas Town
Vanguard loves Christmas! Since the start of the school in 1985, Vanguard has celebrated Christmas with wonderful events and productions. In 2015, the school opened The Christmas Town; and the campus was transformed. Our students and staff built the town of Bethlehem and reenacted the night that Christmas truly began. The Christmas Town has activities for everyone in the family with lights, live music, amazing food, kids activities, hayrides, a 100 tree Gingerbread Forest with 24 ft Gingerbread House, and so much more! The Booster Club strives to strengthen Vanguard by offering financial support (through fundraising): by coordinating and providing volunteer assistance in a variety of areas: and finally by promoting positive and enriching events on our campus and throughout the community. It is our sincere desire to act as a support system for the teachers, students, and families of Vanguard. We pray that because our works are done with a spirit of love and generosity, God will surely be glorified in all that we accomplish.

Visual Arts
Leather working, Sculpture, Acrylic Painting, Drawing, Knitting, Sewing, Watercolor and various art classes vary by semester and year. Vanguard also hosts and attends ACSI art contests.
